what is
mdt?
Multidimensional Training is a holistic approach to fitness and movement through three interconnected dimensions:
physical, mental, and spiritual.
MDT is a locally owned gym, built from the ground up with a vision of creating something truly different. Rooted in the community and proudly LGBTQ+ owned, we strive to provide a safe, inclusive space that innovates beyond the rigid frameworks of conventional fitness culture.
This is just the beginning—the dream is to expand, bringing MDT’s trauma-informed and holistic approach to more communities, empowering individuals to heal, grow, and transform through movement.
MDT CORE PRINCIPLES

your Body
Vital Energy (Health & Recovery)
Your body is the engine that fuels your life. Sleep, nutrition, and rest are the foundation of energy—without them, even the strongest structure crumbles. Protecting recovery is protecting your ability to give.
Movement Mastery (Strength & Mobility)
Strength without mobility is like a locked door—you can push, but you can’t flow. Mastery comes from balancing power with control, agility, and grace. When you move with skill, you carry love into every step.
Embodiment (Presence in the Physical)
Your body is not just a tool—it is home. Learning to fully inhabit your breath, posture, and gestures allows you to radiate presence. People feel your love before you even speak when you are truly embodied.
your Mind
Awareness (Self & Other)
Awareness is the lantern in the dark—it shows you what is here without judgment. The more you notice yourself, the more you can notice others. This clarity creates space for love to enter.
Resilience (Flexibility & Adaptability)
A resilient mind bends but doesn’t break. Challenges become opportunities to reframe, adjust, and grow. Like a skilled sailor, you cannot control the wind, but you can always move the sails.
Creativity (Expansive Thinking)
Creativity is love’s playground. It allows you to imagine new ways of being, connecting, and serving. A creative mind turns obstacles into possibilities and keeps love fresh and alive.
your Spirit
Purpose (Alignment)
Purpose is the compass needle that always points you back to love. It keeps your actions aligned with your values, even when life gets stormy. When you know your “why,” your presence becomes magnetic.
Compassion (Interconnection)
Compassion is seeing yourself in others. It softens judgment, heals separation, and expands love beyond your own circle. To live compassionately is to weave yourself into the greater fabric of humanity.
Transcendence (Beyond Self)
Transcendence is remembering you are more than your body and mind. Whether through meditation, nature, or ecstatic movement, you touch the vastness that love flows from. This is love not as effort, but as an endless current moving through you.

ABOUT
ryan uhle
Movement has always been my escape—climbing, skating, cycling, you name it. I was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome at a young age, not long after experiencing a traumatic event. Over time, I came to believe there’s a deep connection between disruptions in our motor neural pathways and the blockages we carry on a mental and spiritual level. When I discovered structured exercise, everything shifted. Training gave me relief from motor sensory overload and helped me feel grounded, empowered, and at home in my body.
That transformation lit a fire in me. I dove headfirst into the spectrum of movement—team sports, action sports, dance, backpacking, fire spinning, flow arts, yoga, meditation—exploring how physical challenge and creative expression can unlock new dimensions of self.
For more than 13 years, I’ve worked full-time as a certified personal trainer with clients of all ages, body types, and movement abilities. What I’ve seen again and again is that movement is more than fitness—it’s a path to healing, growth, and thriving in every dimension of life.
MDT is the culmination of that journey. My vision is to create trauma-informed, holistic, and playful training spaces that empower people to not just get stronger, but to connect, heal, and transform through the incredible power of movement.
